I saw a poster in bradford city centre about a stolen dog and thought I'd post the details here just in case anyone can help.

"MISSING

Male Lurcher, light tan colour

1 yr old

Basil was taken from outside Marks & Spencers on Darley street, Bradford city centre at 4pm thursday 31st August. He is our beloved family pet. He is a light tan/sandy colour with darker markings on spine and was wearing a blue lead when he was taken. He is neutered and microchipped. Cash reward for safe return. We are lost without him. Please return him to us. We just want him back in our home again."

I will not post the telephone number here as I do not know this person and they may not want these details posting on the internet, but I have the number on my phone so if anyone can help please pm me :luck:

any pics???????????????????

This one has been found, see doglost.co.uk

Sorry I haven't got a good picture, I took a photo of the poster on my phone but my phone is rubbish so you cant see the picture at all!

He looks very much like a whippet cross to me. Possibly whippet - greyhound, couldn't tell of size from the picture. I'll see if I can get a better pic of the poster tomorrow.

Oh thats brilliant news  I only saw the poster yesterday, I think I walk round with my eyes closed half the time

I've just read the whole story on doglost. I searched on there earlier but I had searched under lurcher cross but Basil was in the lurcher section. So glad he's been found, that is one very lucky owner
