We have just lost our beautiful lurcher Tyack who died suddenly at the vets after collapsing out on his evening walk. he had only just had his ninth birthday and we miss him dreadfully. He was a true champion in every respect and we had much fun showing him all over the country with huge success, gaining loads of champion placings with him. He is going to be very hard to replace.
We have decided that we would like to go for a similar breed (saluki x whippet, collie, greyhound) - although there was very little collie in there! and definately would like another black/dark brindle dog over 23" tall - Tyack was 28" and would like similar height if possible. We would like a smooth coated dog and are willing to be flexible on the breeding side of things but no deerhound crosses or too much collie - we would like more whippet/greyhound x than anything. We are looking to get this puppy early next year so if anyone is planning a litter please could you let me know.
We know we are being extremely fussy but if anyone could help we would be very grateful. We are located in the South West. Many thanks!
