Stolen from: Eakring, nr. Mansfield, Notts. on 10/1/03

Circumstance of loss: Stolen from farm yard in the afternoon. 2 local women picked up this pup and another dog, thinking they were strays. 2 men then approached and said they were their dogs, so the women gave them to the men. The farmhand saw this from a distance and followed the thieves' car halfway to Newark, when the thieves realised they were being followed and then threw the older dog out of the car onto the road. The farmhand stopped to pick the dog up and lost the car with the pup in.

Additional Info: The thieves were driving a dark blue Ford Escort hatchback, possibly a G reg. Both were wearing combat gear. One was about 5 ft.8 ins. with a dark complexion and dark spikey hair. Police aware.
