Lost Some Weight

Hi just after a bit of advice

My whippet has just come into season for the first time at the age of 8 months. Since coming into season she seems to of lost weight as here ribs are even more visible than normal. She is not off her food or out of soughts. Just wondering if this is normal or if it could be due to the hot weather although she is kept cool and out of the direct sun.

It could be just another growth stage she going through ! :thumbsup:

My 9mth old Sophie Whip was called fat at 7mths by a certain K9er :lol: but now is all lanky and lean, nothing's changed in her diet ect, she hasn't even had a season yet !

I agree. Also having a season means her body is using her energy differently.
