Jai, a white lurcher pup with dark brindle patches, was recently adopted from Greyhound GAP, but last night panicked when some drunken kids started making noise and banging dustbin lids, and managed to get away from his owner and bolt.

His new owners and all at GAP are frantic to get him back, there are people out now searching and postering. Please if anyone is in the area can you keep your eyes open for him? Any help getting posters up round the area would also be appreciated.

His details and poster are on Doglost here:

Very worrying ... fingers crossed for Jai's safe return :luck: :luck: :luck: :luck: :luck:

Jai has been found this morning, stuck in some brambles and terrified. He's on his way to the vet now.

Thank Goodness he's been found - poor little chap

His new owners and everyone at GG must be so relieved.

I'm sure little Jai will recover from his ordeal given lots of cuddles, a yummy tea and a good night's sleep in a nice warm bed

Well done to everyone involved in the search!!

Oh, that is BRILLIANT NEWS. So glad Jai's been found - his owners must be beside themselves.

It is lovely to see good news; thank you!

Brilliant news.  I do hope he is OK and not too upset by his ordeal. :luck:

Poor Jai

Not a great start but at least he is home and safe  and none the worse from his escapade

He's doing fine, back home and stretched out on his bed completely oblivious to all the fuss he's caused

They are pretty sure that he hadn't been outside all the time he was missing, he was clean, not dehydrated or starving nor showing any ill effects from being outside all night on an absolutely freezing night, also his coat was missing. It looks as though someone took him in then with all the posters and search parties let him loose again, very odd.
