Just come home from Norfolk ( lots of beach walks) after Christmas and Molly Springer kept going out trying to have a wee, sometimes a little dribbled out , other times nothing. Did this all afternoon so off to vets last night, has antibiotics for a week and need a sample to determine which sort of infection it is. Now not sure how much of a coincidence this is but November we went away, again to the beach...Molly had leaking problems , last year in Cornwall, after a day at the beach, same probs but only lasted a day in both cases...now could sand or salt water in her system be causing this? She’s totally normal in eating, pooing, walkies etc so finding it a mystery, today hasn’t even asked to go out after her walk this morning . Was a bit surprised that the vet never checked her temperature or gums to see if she was off colour.....for £87 would have expected a bit more of a thorough examination :D

Hi- have had a corgi with this but not sure what caused it. Certainly dehydration can be a factor. Encourage her to drink lots (I made bone broth) and hopefully the drugs will clear it up.

Thanks Merlina , we took a sample to the vets today and rang up to find out the results, nothing wrong at all in her urine so the nurse tells me not to worry about giving her the rest of the anti b’s and we left it at that as Molly all back to normal. Couple of hours later vet rings and says we should have her on anti b’s for another 3 weeks and to have another test of her urine! Told him she was all back to normal and he said the one tablet she had could have made her better! Rubbish as she was ok before she even had the first tablet, losing faith in these vets and just think they’re after making more money out of us  going to finish the weeks supply anyway as agreed with the vet last night .
