Hi,

I've been contacted outside the forum by a user who is having problems logging in and gets redirected to RGL Shark, dodgy Asda offers and iPhone warnings. This also happens when a page is part loading. This forum is being accessed by phone (Android I think) which has been scanned for viruses and malware with nothing found. Any ideas? I'll feedback suggestions, I haven't named the user as it's not my place to.

Thank you both, I don't mind it being known that it is me. I am fine on our ipad like now but on my phone today I can hardly get a page to load but I get redirected. I have seen me be in the process of trying to type something (I tried to respond to the other thread about this earlier) and I got redirected mid sentence. Yesterday was fine, today it is the worst I have seen it - did anything change overnight? I have scanned my phone for viruses and malware and it seems clear, and it is only this site that gives me problems. I have looked around online and other people have reported similar problems where the website has a coding glitch. Sorry to be a pain but it is frustrating.
 
Glad to see you're able to get back on now, I'm sure this will be sorted. It is strange the iPad doesn't exhibit the problems though (I've made an assumption here, correct me if I'm wrong!).

No, you are right. It's just my phone (and Mr F's, same model Samsung Galaxy J5 2016, which I borrowed when mine was charging - don't tell him ...)

@Oliver is looking into this I promise. He’s struggling to pinpoint the problem.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I use IOS and it’s working fine.

It would be interesting to know if it’s just android phones
 
Thanks. I thought it was odd that yesterday it didn't happen at all and today it has been impossible to use android, so much so that I had to ask arealhuman to help me out (too impatient to wait until I got the iPad!)
 
That is odd! Nothing was done on the back end of the website in the last 24hrs....

I rarely access the forum from my iPhone so can't comment on functionality. Hopefully the Adsense thing will help.
 
Thank you everyone. I had a redirect just before 8.30 this morning. I had a roam around the site around 9.00 with no problem and I will keep doing that at various stages during the day. I'll report back later!
 
Been fine until 3.24 pm when i got a redirect via rgl shark :(
 
It may take a little while before it leaves the website @JoanneF - It will defiantly be gone by Monday (fingers crossed)

IF, this is fixed then it's an issue with google Adsense. They often let rogue advertisers onto their system who inject redirect scripts to serve you those silly pages. Let me know. Thanks.
