I love where we live and the fact I can get out walking into the hills really easily. However, I thought I'd post some photos of one of our shorter dogs walks that takes in some views of the town from various angles...not all so pretty :- "

The start of the walk...heading out of town over to the next village....

Really enjoyed those photos ... I especially like the one of the terraced houses

I enjoyed those Nicola. We live in a terrace like that one - no front garden, which is probably a blessing as I'm not very 'green fingered' really  I'd love to have a vegetable garden one day but at the moment I struggle to keep the house plants alive!

I love that shot of Fred jumping down, he looks exactly the same as Molly, even got the same knobbly back

beautiful place you live nicola

I really enjoyed looking at those Nicola, though I think Camera Club is getting to me as I keep noticing things like telegraph wires which I'm sure I didn't really notice before! :- "

Fred is looking quite athletic in the one where he's trying to catch Mick up - he does seem so much happier since he had his corn off. :) And Stan is enjoying posing as usual!

I like the terraced houses one too, but also the one in the lane just outside the village. It all looks very picturesque!

We saw 3 little mini schnauzers yesterday, but their owner was running so we didn't get a chance to speak or take a picture. The smallest one was really cute.

An interesting set of pictures

I love the running picture of Stan, he's grinning

We live in one of the old miners' terraces as well. They are ten a penny around the Peaks. We do have a tiny front garden, but it's not fenced as we're in a conservation area. I do manage to grow some veg in pots each year. Go on...give it a go...it's very rewarding growing your own. :)

Reminds me of Holmfirth................... :- "
It is quite similar and not that far relatively speaking (we have a local bus that goes to Holmfirth..I must make a day trip of it one of these days)...although you're closer :teehee:

Yes..I saw the telegraph wires cutting through the first picture, even when I took the photo, but couldn't be bothered to clone them out afterwards. -_- It is a distraction I must admit..... :- " I did wonder whether i should leave the satellite dish in on the terraces, they are such eye sores :- " ....but it's all part of modern life I guess. :)

Fred still likes a quick sprint occasionally.....unfortunately I've found another corn on his other foot this time....so I expect we'll have to go through the same procedure all over again...sigh

Three little mini...bless  ....all that grooming :sweating: :sweating:
