Little lurchers?

Hi

I'm new here. I had a beautiful Lurcher who died recently at age 16. I would love another but a little smaller in height and weight (she was a greyhound X I think or maybe a whippet crossed with a bigger breed?)

I am unsure whether to look for a whippet X or if an Italian Greyhound X is also classed as Lurcher? What kind of crosses would produce a dog roughly between 14-18" tall?

What kind of size would an Italian Greyhound X produce? (roughly) I like the scruffy looking ones too (bit like Alfred off Heartbeat) as well as the smooth coated ones, what crosses do they usually involve to get that coat?

Any photo's would be welcome to give me an idea?

I've got a little lurcher, least that's what she looks like. She's apparently Patterdale cross collie but looks just like a little lurcher. She has a rough coat along the top and it's longer there. And short and soft at the bottom. She was a stray from dogs trust. Maybe try them for a similar look.
