Hello to all you coursers. Saw some nice coursing dogs in Brighton yesterday and plenty of coursing folk. I hadn't heard of the Iraq Coursing Club I have to say. but they had a banner!! :D .

Some help please if you could. I have a bottle of LIQUID LECTADE and need to know how much I need to dilute it. It seems it is sold predominately for calves and ewes , the recommended dilution rate being 11.5 parts water to 1 part of the concentrate for those animals. What would be the best dilution for dogs I wonder??

Many thanks

Lamping man

Let coursing reign forever

i race non-peds and sometimes use this product, i usually put about 10 mils to a four pint carton. it has always worked on the dogs especially through the summer months during racing, and they haven,t come to no harm

I know a lot of the greyhound lads use Liquid Lectade, we normaly use Recharge but i'd think it would be simlar? we mix Recharge about 10ml to a pint.

you could put a post on Flappers dream web site thats used by the greyhound lads.

Hi Lamping man. From someone who does not have a clue  What do you do with Liquid Lectade ?!! Does it make them go faster :- "

Hi Jiminy. I am not aware that it makes them go faster. I am no expert but one of its uses and maybe the main use is to replace the electrolytes that an increase in phsical exertion can remove from the body. As in hare coursing, for instance. a dog can expend a lot of energy during a course and an electrolyte supplement will prove beneficial and assist in the dogs recovery. Some people who run greyhounds will use Lectade before and after a race as they say that they do in fact notice an improvement. Now I do not know if the said improvement is in respect of recovery or speed. I would suspect that it is the former. Best wishes,

The incomparable and ever informative
