Limping

Hi, we took our boy out for a really long walk yesterday and bumped into a dog walker with a lovely whippie (didn't have the camera) and they had a whale of a time running and running together (it was a pleasure to watch them) and he was fine on his second walk yesterday.

I took him out for quite a long walk this morning and when we came back he just started limping quite badly on his left leg? I checked his pads and cannot see anything obvious and have steeped his foot in warm water but nothing. Nothing looks to be swollen, he does not seem to be in any pain at all, not off his food - just limping?

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Lisa

lisa - our dog Pudding also started limping recently after a run. He's 10 so he's no spring chicken. The vet checked him over and thinks it may be arthritis brought on by change in weather. He's on some meds now but still limping a bit - and that's after 3 weeks. Sooo. I'm wondering if there's a minor hairline fracture that could have been caused during the run. Nigel
