My mare, Rookie, is due to foal anytime now :thumbsup:

This will be her second foal - sadly her first boy died at 3 months old last year

We are all keeping our fingers crossed that everything will be OK this time

My mare is from a winning NH/Point to Point line, all her siblings are winnners, and she has a win to her credit which she achieved in a maiden point to point the first year I had her

I never ran her again as she had an accident in the field and overreached herself so badly that she cracked the back part of her front hoof off and she now has arthritis of the pedal bone and is permanently unsound

I'm hoping she will produce a foal which I can go on with and race in four years time :thumbsup:
