I decided the ground has dried up enough to risk putting Laddie out in the paddock for a couple of hours this evening (w00t)

He normally goes crazy, but I think he was too interested in the grass this time

Here's a few pics ........ he's looking a bit on the podgy side this year as he hasn't been in race training

What a lovely boy - he still looks really fit and well.

i dont really know much about horses, but he is beautiful jane

Jayne what a stunning looking horse Laddie is... and looking super fit too...

Yes the ground seems to just dry up then we get rain or snow....its snowed here a little overnight ..just a shower though. Hope the ground stays dry enough for him to stay out a bit longer soon.

What a lovely fellow!

One of my boys (horses that is ;) ) is called Lad too! Because he WAS ONE!

Very mellow gentleman these days doing fancy pants dressage (he can even bow) but in his younger days WOO HOO! he was a bush racing, camp drafting, cattle mustering, hunting, cross country WILD BOY!

beautiful looking horses...lovely and shiny...do you race /point to point him

as you say when hes race fit

very handsome

What a lovely boy. Personnally I prefer him when he is more "let down" but as I said only my humble opinion.
