K9'er Goes To Paignton - Today

Guess which K9'er went to Paignton Champ show today?

She went to show her terrier.

She was going with a friend who was going to show her whippets. She was surprised that this very reliable and well organised friend didn't turn up this morning. :b

So she got her hubby to have the day off work and drive her down to the show.

Ive had friends who went to SKC the wrong day , one AFTER they shouuld have been there , but never heard of anyone going a WEEK before , before , Well at least sheu wont miss it NEXT week will she o

I once went to the wrong Crawley . We were towing the van and going a couple of days before the show fortunately. My OH said " never mind Darling" turned round and drove back the extra 50 miles. ( He has lived with me for a long, long time). (w00t) :lol:

Personally I think that it was an over reaction to missing her classes at Blackpool the other week. She camped there and was very close to the ground and pootled along thinking that she had plenty of time only to find that the dogs were on the challenge.

When she phoned me I thought that she was going to tell me how she got on I could hear John in the background saying things like prat or was it plonker. :b

My heart dropped into my stomach. I was POSITIVE I had the right week, but then I saw this and though I'd missed it.

Phew.

But that's the kind of thing *I* would do. I've done the opposite actually (but for an Open Show). Got the week wrong and missed the show. :b

Well,Paignton was lovely.Sun was shining,had the whole car park to ourselves,the marquee's were all up......................no judge though ,so,had an ice-cream and came home :- " .
