Was away for the day, last sunday, and took a few photo's,as im just trying a wee it of everything, that might help me learn a bit more about photography.Other than just action photraphy. This macro thing,is something else, and im beginning to get the hang of this still life thingy. So i thought id stick a few on here.To see what you think, and maybe get a bit of feed back, from those in the know. How i can improve a bit more.Had to take these hand held.As i had no tripod with me.

This was the 1st scene we came across,as we started off. What a sight.

Some great pics there

I especially like the little robin :)

Great shots, very atmospheric with the hazy weather. Thanks for sharing them.

nice work there billy :) , the 3rd and 4th landscape shots are perfect, plenty to expore with the eye in the foreground, midground and back ground. when thinking about landscapes is best to think what you would like to draw more attention to the sky,the back ground or foreground and compose the shot to the plan you have came upwith.

the macro photos are stunning, are these with the70-200mmL? i have tried my hand at this style but get into problems with depth of field on a lot of them. even in AV mode.

looking forward to seeing more

Kev

Yup.They're with the L lens Kev.To be honest.I find that if anything starts giving me trouble,i revert to the sports mode.As the 6 frames per second, dont give any time at all,fir camera shake. Will go into my pix in a minute,as i think thats what i took some of these on.Would love to keep doin a bit more manual work though. But that will all come in time.At the moment,im just experimenting. Will spend a day down there sooon as i get the weather, and a chance to get away from the house again. As im pretty much tied down at the moment, with the pups.Might purchase another wee 18/200 IS lens, when i get all the pups im sellinga new home.
