hi everyone! i'm new to this....got jem in september 2008, she is a lurcher (collie x greyhound),she is the funniest dog i ever had,so vocal! she gets on well with my 2 jack-russell bitches but she really needs to run.....do you know of anywhere in my area that i can go to train her to a lure?eg.lurcher clubs i could go along to,she comes from working parents and i would love to be involved in something like this. my hubby used to despair at all the game fairs we go to in the summer as i always used t put the terriers in the terrier racing and shows.i had heard that years ago the greyhound track in great yarmouth,norfolk used to do lurcher racing for a bit of fun,but i don,t know if this is true or not.....can anyone help me out?
