Not much news. Still waiting for the rain to brighten up the garden. I believe we have found a mate for Isidra after a long search. She should be well over 18 months on her second season. The possible mate is of very similar breeding to Isidra and was res. Limit Dog at Crufts in2004.Hope the photo comes out. Regards, Stephen

Hi Stephen, plenty of rain here over the last 3 days!!!

I can only see the top of Isidra on my screen. It looks like a pic I could have posted!!!! (Sorry!) What breeding is she by the way, I'm fairly new to K9, so I am having to learn as I go along.

Looks like I made it this time. Isidra is Bohem, Pardee, Manoir de la Grenouillere, Silkstone. I always have to have three attempts to send a photo. Do it by trial and error as I can never remember the process. Regards, Stephen

Hes a lovely boy , is Damon . I handled him a couple of times for Roma at Championship shows she couldnt get to , and I saw him last year at Tammsvik :- " Hes a nice dog and would have been ideal to go with my stuff too ;)

. No picture as yet. I assume Ch. Superlook du Manoir de la Grenouillère is the same dog Jax is discussing. We know very little about him as he was recommended to us by Fernando Albuquerque, president of the Portuguese Whippet Club whom we have known since the early 1990´s. From his pedigree he is descended from Madame Bourdin`s Ch. Sandlena Astronomer, Ch. Beau Mec, Hillsdown Mollie, Hutaka and Ch. Bohem Adam´s Rib. The only other possible sire in this neck of the woods is Can,Port,Span, and I believe Fren. Ch. Lynallans Rio at Brushwood. Unfortunately you have to go back 6 or 7 generations on Rio`s pedigree to find common ancestors such as Baydale Cinnamon, Dondelayo`s etc. Superlook´s pedigree seems to fit in with Isidra`s. The House of the Frog`s dogs, as Dawn calls them (as far as I know no connection with Toad of Toad Hall), are well distributed throughout Europe and as far as I can ascertain from the Internet you have to go north of Paris, Belgium, Sweden and Finland to find 100% British bloodlines. Hope i`m not boring you all. Regards, Stephen

No Stephen , Ive got the wrong year , I thought you were on about Int CH Silkstone Secret Gold  who actually got the RCC in 2003 . I havnt a clue who got 4th in Limit in 2004 as the Results books only go up to the first 3 placings . Thank goodness it will now be having all 5 placings in
