I'm just wondering if there are other dogs just like my dogs. :D

One of my Shihtzus doesn't like taking a bath and it's really a mess whenever I give her a bath!! So then I have to take a bath after because I get all wet too. She also hates drying her hair with a blower!!

My GR doesn't like getting sprayed by the perfume or anything that resembles the spraying sound. She gets all crazy and barks at it. (There are organic perfumes for dogs, I don't use human perfume)

How about your dogs? Are they the same as mine?

Paragliders! Every time he sees a paraglider he goes crazy, barking at it. Don’t know if he thinks they are giant birds of prey or what!

Dogs can be weird in what they see and what they think it is, I was walking a cocker only a few days ago and with the rain a big flower was bent over and the dog went nuts and gave it a mighty stare , I just carried on as normal but I was laughing my head off inside, it’s important to make it a no issue problem, my two lurchers was firework steady but the brindle when he was 8 started to take a dislike to the whizzing sound but was fine with the load bang,, like I said weird.

The raw food shop, and a bootful of frozen raw food! He loves his food, but he won't go into the shop, and the one time we picked up a load of raw food and drove home with it in th boot and him on the back seat he had a meltdown, tried to get in the front with us, and I had to walk him partway home while OH drove home, dropped off the food and came back for us.

And when the roof blinds in the conservatory get pulled across the roof in spring and rolled back in autumn. You'd think the sky was falling in, the fuss he makes.

One of my dogs wouldn't accept showering at all....otherwise brave terrier was really scared of it. I tried few times to bring her fears into level she would be able to tolerate it, but no. So figured out it wasn't necessary after trying having her being washed outside on the back yard with watering can. After that I never bothered even trying a shower with our other dogs. It was win win..the yard got quick wash in the same progress, I didn't have bathroom to clean up after a wet dog..and everybody was happy!
Otherwise there has been the usual issues with hoover or fireworks...some we've we managed to work 'away' and others not.

Statues and garden ornaments. He is better than he used to be, but when he was younger he was not a happy boy.

I can relate!! There was this one time one of my dogs was just staring blankly on the wall and it scared the h*ll out of me when she started barking!! Lol. They are the weirdest!

My sister had a dog that was afraid of the color black. I am really not sure how they knew that.

My Maggie runs when I say the phrase "trim your nails." We actually take her to the vet for that.

Just like my baby!! She hates everything about grooming. She knows the word "bath" too. She hides under the table whenever I call her and she sees me with a towel.

All types of dog are different I.e. small lap dogs but if when young you let your dog see water, wind, cars, as much as possible and if you seem to be having a problem don’t pick the dog up or overplay the problem then mostly things are cool, my last 3 lurchers never gave a problem with water, cars, wind, rain, fireworks, showers, nail clippers, I was looking after a brown lab for two weeks while owners was on holiday , the dog needed grooming so when finished I got the Henry out and gave her a Hoover, not as bad as you think, she just let me lightly hoover her back and sides, I videotaped it as she was a star, anyway owners came back and while talking they said we forgot to tell you she dosnt like hoovers hahaha really I said watch this, there faces was a picture, I feel sorry for those who have these problems, but I did see a cocker go mental last year when I put the hoover on, this week thow he let me hoover around him which is a result.

My girl has one strange thing, theirs one walk we sometimes go on, it has a footpath through three fields leading on to a good area with plenty of trees open spaces and a large pond. Going she wont walk through the second field off lead, on lead she walks fine and does not look worried but off lead no way she refuses. I have even tried letting her off say 3/4 of the way across and as soon as I do she shoots back turns round after she has left it and watches me. Returning she is quite happy on or off lead, but if while we are coming back I turn round and start heading back she again runs out of that field. I have never been able to work out what causes it, she has never had a bad experience in the field and I can't see anything that could worry her.

Ohhhh, we were traveling home from family (200 mile trip) and took a wrong turn that took us MILES out of our way. At one point we were traveling a back, back road and Marshmallow started trembling and whimpering - we have NEVER seen her act like that. When we were able to get onto a bigger road, she immediately went back to her normal self.

She was found starving when she was about 6 or so months old probably less than 50 miles away from there. We don't know if we were really close to where she lived before being dumped or where she was dumped. We have been down roads that look similar to us and she doesn't freak out. We never asked the specifics of her foster mom.

Unfortunately, it seems that Baby Miles is not a big fan of people wearing masks.
90+ lbs (41 kg) extra confident 1.5 y.o., to whom "not a fan" does not mean "let's hide somewhere".
It means "I must make the mask go away".
Not great these days.
The good thing is that this reaction is mostly when he is inside the car and masks attempt to walk by.....

Poor baby. :( I think she felt that it was her terrible life she had before she got adopted.

People clapping or cheering on the TV. He goes nuts, spinning and barking. You would be amazed how many times this happens on the TV in an evening. And it only has to be for a few seconds.

My corgi loves kids but not if they are wearing a floppy hat. She could not care less about any other type of hat, but it better not be large and floppy on a small child or she loses her marbles.
