Hello all I’m new to this forum so will give you a bit of background. Many years ago after losing our family’s lassie collie we decided that we would never have another dog because of amongst other things the trauma of losing them. We are now retired and fully intended to remain dogless but then our daughters French bulldog came into our lives and we were smitten. It wasn’t a decision made lightly and I researched the breed and possible problems very carefully. We got Elvis who was 9 weeks old just before Christmas last year and he will be one this week. It hasn’t been easy by any means and we have had many experiences of ‘accidents’ in and around the house which include apart from the obvious, chewing woodwork and mad half hours when he runs round the house like a whirlwind and is impossible to slow down but we wouldn’t change things as the love and affection he has brought into our lives has been truly wonderful.
