Introducing "clare"

Mark and I have recently taken up model boat sailing. :b Mark has had a small yacht for years and has always wanted a larger boat. He has a major birthday (21) coming up in August so I bought him a model racing "Laser" yacht. I have also bid and won a boat on ebay which he collects on saturday.

My lovely youngest son bought "Clare" for me, as I have enjoyed sailing the small old boat we had. We found a model sailing club locally, get the use of a private lake included ( belongs to a country club, no fishing or public.) Mark collected her today and I just love her. She is about 35 inches long and weighs around 30lb. I can't wait to get her out on the lake, she sails and also has a motor onboard.

Reminds me of my childhood ......... we used to sail model yachts on the lake near my home :thumbsup:
