I noticed on an alternative web site that it states Sup Rch Shooting Star has mated a Top Class greyhound bitch and shows this in June 04. I am sure no malice was intended but the info must have got misunderstood between parties having a discussion. To put the record in order, he has mated my own bitch Thorgil Jewel.
However this mating only took place over this week end between Friday 30th July
And Sunday the 1st of August pups due 2nd October( i hope).
Thorgil Jewel proven brood Is the daughter of the NO1 brood bitch of the 90s the legendary Lady Guest. Dam of many Top class greyhounds including Toms the Best, who won English Derby Irish Derby and ran 2nd in the Scottish Derby in 1998
Thorgil Jewel was with Top breeder Ian Grieves in Ireland and was purchased by me last November 2003. Presently her last litter May 2003 to Top Honcho is for sale on his web site. Thorgil Peter Priced £6000 Thorgil Sam priced £3000 this bitch has already produced open class and A1 winners.
Thorgil Jewel:Sire is Thorgil Tex (Austrialian bloodlines) who Broke the Bendigo track record in a time of 24.09 also his sire Amerigo Man Broke Mudgee track record in 24.34 best distance for both these is 430 mts which by greyhound standards is a sprint. hope this clears any incorrect postings.
