I'm Finally Getting My Dog Tomorrow

Hi everyone been a while since i posted here.

I finally after being 17 yrs without a whippet since my last girl died i get a whippet x saluki puppy tomorrow (w00t)

His breeding is dam saluki xwhippet and sire is also a straight saluki cross whippet the sires mother is a little laguna bitch and both parents measure 23 inches to the shoulders.

I can't wait to pick him up tomorrow and post some pics :)

He will be 8 weeks old.

Can't wait took alot of pursuading my OH to let me have him. :)

No Name yet still thinking about that .

I will be posting plenty of pics though :)

I decided to call him Flash :)

We picked him up this morning i haven't taken any pics yet but i have a pic of him with some of his litter mates.

At this moment in time Flash is laying in front of the fire asleep with my 2 yr old daughter sat next to him they are already best friends ever since she fed him a crisp :- "

Flash is the brindle dog with the white chest in the middle of the pic. Not being bias because he is mine but he is sooooooooooo cute :wub:

what a sweetie sounds like your little girl is going to spoil him rotten :)

He is a little monkey he tried eating my OH trainers last night so i moved them moved him told him no. The next minute he was creeping past flat on his belly head back inside the trainer :lol:

First night in his crate which i left downstairs in the hallway went really well only had to get up once and sit next to the crate for 5 mins until he fell back to sleep.

I think he only woke up because my son woke and was shouting me as soon as he heard my voice he started crying :wub:

Hopefully i will have a smaller crate today as the one i'm using is for a large dogs so too big for the bedroom but excellent for him downstairs as he can have his bed food and toys and plenty of room to play.

My OH say Flash is not allowed to sleep on the bed ever :- " :- "

Can't you tell by that statement he has never owned a whippet . Who do you think is going to win that battle ?
