Well what a day we all had... and what a team!!! We had glorious sunshine with not a cloud to be seen all day.
The members all arrived early and worked so hard to put up one half of our new 150 yard permanent straight. The other half will hopefully be up next week :sweating:
The club have also purchased a 'ride on' lawn mower... This will enable us to maintain our track - keeping it in tip top condition.
Special thanks go to Barry, Carol & Lucas, Rob, Naomi & Jack (for his inspections of the track (w00t) , Gary & Cheryl, Norman & Christine, Becky, Tony & Laura, Tracy, and John & Nicky for all their hard work.
The day was intervened by a scrumptious buffet, which consisted of sandwiches, quiches, pasta, cakes and Carol's world famous brews - which was much appreciated by all :thumbsup:
We finished our afternoon off by some trialling which was eagerly awaited by the dogs... Norman & Chris' pup Maizie (Run at Mill x Highland Lassie) had a few runs, running impressively against Velvet Cocktail. Master of Light, Femme Fatale, Torch of the North and a few of the other regulars had a run too.
