looking at the results, even at 1/2 then 2ft per lb, the main A final had three bitches all weighing less than 22 lb, 1 at 21, 1 at 20 and 1 at 19,. When are the organisers of events going to give all racers a fair chance at opens and do away with yd per lb its out of date and unfair to all but a few. I have been To two opens over the last two weeks one at 1/2 yd the other at 2ft. All dogs that reached the finals ran of because they had a chance, and the majority of races were close, with the finals being Photo finishes. this is the way forward, surely I'm not the only one who thinks like this ?.
