How much does booking a cottage usually cost?

I usually book hotels whenever I travel to the beach, but a friend of mine told me that it’s much cheaper to opt for a cottage. Most importantly, I love bringing my dog with me so she told me that this Caister on Sea dog friendly beach cottage she found online would be perfect. However, since it’s my first time to book such, I am not aware of the usual charges per night. Anyone who can help me? Just so I can tell if the rates offered by my chosen cottage is reasonable.
