I see the Hound Club is today. Best of luck everyone. No predictions????? :- "

Well I have been studying the form of both dogs & judges. I have came up with 2 that could win. :D

I am going to have my money (each way) on the Sight hound & the Sent hound.

No other predictions????? Best if there were not. :*

Someone has their lines crossed.........

The Houndshow is NEXT weekend on the 7th August.

Thers IS an excuse for you though as the show WAS planned for today but the venue was double booked so Shirley Rawlings (who you must have heard of) had to reschedule the dates.

8) 8) 8) (w00t) 8) 8) 8)

We could have made the results up Dawn, and Cartman would have been none the wiser.

Pauline Oliver thought it was today too .

If Id gone today at least I could have won Best in Show :- "

:D LOL :D

Hound show is going to be my pup Tillys first show........... wonder how much shes going to show me up LOL

Would she have been old enough if it was today Wendy ?

:D Nope ....... she is 6 months on the 5th. :D

Best of luck to all those going. We were planning to be there but little miss Savannah had other plans!! (well actually she'd be very pleased if we went and let her play with the boys if you get my drift).

Instead we're off up to get our new pup on Friday - definitely a good consolation for not going to the Houndshow.

Here they dont change dates. Years back, there were some big floods. Our Ag, show, although the rest was cancelled, was still held. Rules said we could hold it at an Ag. show ground. So, it went from Forbes to Parkes. The show must go on, so it seems.I was still suprised by the large number that made it.Many from our south could not get through. But 75% did get there. :teehee:

Word of mouth. I was told, then everyone knew.

Just for Cartman - Hound Show REALLY is this Saturday :D :D

Best of luck to all going - big entry of 103 dogs making 124 entries for Liz Third and 150 bitches making 168 entries for Morag Bolton-Lockhart.

Lets hope for no thunderstorms, torrential rain, mini tornadoes and 30degree temps like we have had here in Oxfodshire for the last couple of days (actually with some lovely weather in between) 8) :sweating:

Good entry . well which of you lot have entered a dog or are just going to watch ?

Ive entered Mikkee , wasnt going to bother ,but then thought as I was going to go and watch might as well take her too :b

she`s only got a few more puppy classes then it`s junior

Have a lovely day's judging, Liz!

And everyone who's going - enjoy your day! We'll be waiting for the results and (hopefully) pics!

Millie and I are going, it is Tilly's first show (Tilly and Millie ha! ha!) and I am taking Aimee, just hope she is a little more cheerful than she was at Leeds! I've stuffed her full of Pulsatilla this week so I hope it will have made a difference but it may not have done when she discovers what time I am going to drag her out of her bed!! LOL

AND, I will have you all know, I have made some of that Tuna cake so hopefully that might cheer her up. They were all very keen to have a taster when I was cutting it up last night. I turned my back for 2 seconds and The Brat made off with a big bit!! Luckily he is not one of these that swallows things the minute he has it in his mouth, he likes to savour his food, so I managed to retrieve it, much to his disgust!!
