200 yards I think for the scratch dogs

165 yards the others-at 1/2 yard per pound for finals-no equal runs-

makes a change to see light weights pulling out of main finals, it just shows that the whole handicap system needs looking at, unless opens are split into equal

numbers for each handicap, ie. 10 at 1/2 yd a ld 10 at 2ft lb and 10 at yd ld then it would be giving all weight group winners a fair chance.

Jade, I couldn't agree with you more - your suggestion makes much fairer racing for ALL weights - pity there were not more races like that - i.e. a mixture for all weights during the seasons.
