hi there ,, i am quite new to showing and have bravely put a pik of my 7 month old whippet on so you can either point out good AND bad points ... would appreciate it and will accept any bad points (w00t) without running away :b thank you

If I can just say, when you take a picture of a dog stacked, really try and get the photographer to be right at the dogs level, as when the camera is looking down on the dog it doesn't do the dog any favours! They can end up looking very short-legged etc etc. Its a mistake lots of people make even in adverts and the photos just don't do the dog justice. Hope you don't mind me pointing it out :b

she :wub: aka "mouse" she is beautifull :wub: thank you ,, first and foremost she is a great pet . was just wondering what people thought of her from show point to (w00t) she is a darling :wub:
 
I like the look of her, her markings are very nice and I do lik her colour. I do not know if it is just the picture but she looks a little big for my taste although I do like my whippets small. She seems to have nice angles and the moving picture looks quite nice too.

I think a bit better photo's would give us a better idea.
 
yes it is just the picture as she is a small whippet really . only 18.1/2 inch so looks quite small compared to others her age ,, but she is developing nice ,, thank you
 
She is very pretty, looks like she has good length and enough depth for her age. it is impossible to judge her finer points from a photo, but do try to get her more balanced when standing, not leaning forward so much and perhaps bring her hind leg forward a lttle. She obviously covers plenty of ground . Good luck with her!
 
Not much to add, she looks very pretty and well developed for her age. Also, she seems to have a lovely head with sufficient underjaw for her age, and a long, elegant neck.

She does look quite nice, very pretty :wub: The second photo is a much better photo but as Liz said she is leaning far too far forward which makes her look unbalanced.

She does have plenty of length and a good depth of chest, her feet look well knuckled and she has I think about enough angulation on her stifle. Its very hard to tell much else from a photo, she perhaps looks a touch upright in the shoulder but this could probably be the way she is standing, it is very hard and perhaps quite wrong to judge a dog without getting your hands on it, so to speak!!

I don't have bitches myself but I don't think 18.5" is that small seeing as the standard I believe has only just gone up to 19" and she is still only 7 months - I know there are plenty that are bigger around, but 18.5" at her age is by no means small nor is it overly tall!

She looks great, What matters is that you believe shes good enough lets face it theres nothing you can do to make her smaller or taller.
