Holidays In The Lakes

I have just booked a weeks holiday in March (after Crufts and Whippet Stars of course!) and I'm now looking for a holiday cottage for the 2 of us and the whips for the week.

We would like to go up to the Lakes - does anyone have any recommendations? I remember someone put a link on to some really lovely holiday cottages that they stay in, but I can't find that now. I even sent off for a brochure from them but that was lost in the house move.

Any tips would be appreciated!!

www.yewtree-farm.co.uk lovely couple own it ( and working farm ) only 3 double rooms, so exclusive, we took our whippet, how many dogs will you be taking ?

I can well recommend the home cooked 3 course meal on arrival, beds are out of this world, refurb'd to a very high standard, and gorgeous pet lambs in garden that like to rub noses with whippets !
