Hi, we have been browsing for somewhere to go on holiday. We were ideally loooking for Devon or Cornwall but will consider anywhere with recommendation!! Went to Lake District and Cotswolds before so ideally somewhere different.

We are struggling to find somewhere that is dog friendly and not packed with rules and regs eg the dogs can only go in certain rooms etc, that wont break the bank. There are only the 2 of us with Kendall so only needs to be somewhere small, want self catering dont mind whether cottage, chalet, caravan etc. Everywhere we have found on the net costs a fortune or doesnt seem truly dog friendly.

Ideas anyone?

Little Dumpledale have four cottages and a caravan and are extremely dog friendly (I'm taking my five there at the end of the month) - they do get very booked up though. Great place, lovely people and a short drive from some fabulous beaches and countryside!

A lot of caravan parks allow dogs, we've done short breaks with Haven and Parkdene in the past so that might be worth looking at too.

Hi Haven accepts dogs,up to two dogs per caravan,we stayed at Rockley Park,Poole,Dorset,we did'nt have the dogs with us,but next time we will take a couple of dogs,it was so clean, lovely walks and you got the New Forest not far.Haven got holiday parks at different places
