hey! I have recently got a new puppy called Tilly she is a lurcher and she is absolutely beautiful! I have a 11 month old little girl and they get on so well ☺️ I have my hands full as she is one needy pup but I wouldn’t change her one bit

Welcome - she is beautiful, and very similar to my Jasper. Do you know what cross/mix she is?

So I’m going to be honest, the breeder wasn’t 100% with helping me in that sense, I am looking at doing a doggie DNA test on her though she is only 15 weeks old and huge already, your Jasper is so adorable!! I find that she requires a lot of walks and play and mental stimulation before she even decides to be tired but she’s working so well in my family and she has the most amazing personality

Hi and welcome:)

Hello and welcome. Another lurcher owner/fan here.

Don't waste your money on a DNA test - they are notoriously inaccurate - allegedly a journalist sent their own DNA and it came back as mostly spaniel!

To be fair though, when you think about spaniels frantically furtling about in the undergrowth and grubbing for any old rubbish, however unpleasant, it wasn't that far off :D

Good afternoon and welcome. Your lurcher is beautiful and you’re very lucky. You’ll find great company and entertaining advice here. I agree with Hemlock re DNA testing one’s hound. I’ve also heard of conflicting tests. Just enjoy your lurcher.
