Stolen from: Bishops Stortford, Herts. on 26/5/04

Circumstance of loss: The Animal Rescue Charity in Bishop's Stortford, during wednesday night and thursday morning our sanctuary was broken into and 3 of our beautiful dogs were stolen. A springer spaniel and 2 lurchers (LSOD/D/B 1820-1822)

Additional Info: There is a reward for information leading to the safe recovery of our beautiful friends. If you would be so kind as to circulate our details to all your volanteers we would be very greatful. As you can probably understand all our staff and helpers are very destressed at the theft of our dogs which have already had traumatic lives before coming to our sanctuary.

One of them is back safe.

>"Gilly" was found in Cambridge straying on the St Albans Road a few days after she was taken. She was taken to the animal warden, who then handed her on to Woodgreen Animal Shelter in Godmanchester. There have been possible sightings of the other 2 also in the cambridge area.
