Can anyone help? I am looking for some of the racing jackets that fit like a body sock (like athletes wear), to stop one of my boys from grazing his chest every week.

I have seen a few dogs around wearing them, but nobody seems to know where to get them from.

Any ideas??

They sound great, do tell us when you find a source. They sound much safer than the button, tie or velcro fasteners that come back flapping in the wind after a race. and I have some lunatics that try to take them off while in their cages. I hate sewing on buttons and tapes, and the ties are so fiddly when your fingers are numb with cold and you have constant jacket changes on a cold wet and windy day. If these are elasticated and just pull on over the head they would be great.

I doubt if it's these people but it could be. lycra racing suits

On another list people were talking about whippets from California (I think it was) going north to run in cold conditions and racing in these. Apparently while they looked funny and caused some smiles they did the job.

I found a site a while ago that did the greyhound lycra vest that was based in Australia, I found it through a link on the gone to the dogs web site, if I come across it again on my many hours of travel i'll post it you never know if contacted they might do whippet one.

a while ago a girl at the Northern (Gill Sweeney who owns Chillybang ect ) made herself some and they were spot on but she never got round to making loads of them :( and she's now had a baby and dropped out of racing for a while.

Oh Mark I thought that you had come up with the solution and had posted a link.
