Help Please

My dog can never seem to get a good run with any other dog where i walk. not many people have running dogs. i live where the people are usually "i'm big and hard because ive got a staff and a pit bull" if you know what i mean. So is their any sort of club where i can meet people with similar sorts of dogs in my area.

Try signing onto Lurcherlink www.lurcher.org as I'm sure there are quite a lot of members up your way who arrange group walks from time to time. LL has about 700 lurcher loving members atm over the whole country.

You could come to the Ginpit near Manchester or Westhoughton near Bolton? Check out the non-pedigree racing forums for Astley and tyldesley and also Westhoughton.

With dark nights drawing in we head for Westhoughton greyhound track on Thursday evenings. (Starting 29th September) There's lurchers coming along and we all help out with the schooling of new dogs. If your interested give Vicky Harper a ring for more details.
