Hi, i was wondering if anyone could give me some help. I am currently a 3rd year student at Newcastle University studying Animal Science. I've known for a very long time i wanted a career working with animals, which has been narrowed down to dogs rather than livestock animals. I was keeping my options open whether to do further study or move far away from home as were i live in the north east their isn't really many animal jobs I was interested in . However before Christmas i found out i was pregnant , therefore me moving away has went clearly out of the equation as i would rather be close to home. Looking at jobs, I believe what would be best for me is either a part time job or having my own business and i really like the idea of becoming a dog walker/trainer/behaviourist. Would anyone please be able to help me and guide me in the right direction of how to become one of these as i literally dont have a clue and i dont wanna waste my money and time on pointless courses.... I already feel like i have done that with my degree however everyone says to me a degree is a degree and it will stay with you forever. Thanks
