Help Needed

well my dog is haveing problems with his toe nails there not to long but they are slighty twisted and now his nail has ripped out sideways in his toe which has happend before im just wondering if anyone may know why

He may have damaged his nail bed in the past or have a fungal infection. Best to see the vet.
