i own many dogs and horses and live in Herefordshire. My husband and I farm beef cattle and some arable.

I have three Border terriers, one English bulldog and one Boston terrier. They are all working dogs up to a point. The terriers are all great ratters, with the Boston specialising in crows and the odd wood pigeon. The English bulldog serves as Field Marshal to the rest of the pack. My husband shoots but he keeps his retrievers in a garden pen, so they are not really household pets, other than when hubby is not around !
