just joined the forum...we are hoping to get a whippet bitch around the end of November. We presently have 2 min schnauzer bitches, aged 12 and 8. This seems about the right time for a 3rd dog.

We have been making lots of enquiries but if anyone can help please let me know.

Welcome to the twilight zone

Hi Enid

Welcome to the forum, loads of knowledgable people on here, only too willing to help out with advice...then there's people like me who don't know a lot, but love their dogs

Lots of luck with your whippet search - they are the best!

Nicola on here has a min schnauzer and a whippet :D

Thank you all for your welcome. Is Whippet rescue not situated in the South of England? Is there anything in Scotland. Might give it some thought.

Hello and welcome. If you are looking for something a little more local to you why not get in touch with your local whippet club. It was speaking to the secretary of my local club that I got my first whippet. I now have three.

Goodluck in your search and I would love to see some pics of your other dogs.

I have done that. Spoken to lots of folk all over central Scotland.

Hello and welcome to K9.........my sister has 2 mini's...........any pic's of yours??

Hello and welcome. Good luck in your search for a whippet.

I have a mini schnauzer too. Aren't they're a delightful, loveable, roguish breed, if a tad on the vocal side at times :- " I don't blame you for choosing a whippet this time around.

My two get on very well, my mini adores my whippet, and my whippet quite likes Stan really, although he doesn't always care to show it. :p He just likes to pick bits of food out of his beard and clean the sleepy dust from his eyes occasionally, before i get a chance to do it. They will chase each other round the house occasionally, until Stan gets a bit carried away by barking  Be a bit cautious if you intend to introduce a pup, as they can be very lively and any play needs supervision. I found that out to my cost :sweating:
