Hello! Ziva looks adorable!

Play biting (mouthing) is COMPLETELY normal in a puppy. Its how they explore their new world but best to try to get it under control. The technique which worked best for me was to use a disappointed 'uh-oh!' when mouthing was happening and quickly introduce a toy which was acceptable for biting. Make the toy as exciting as a running/flapping child would be! Squeak it, move it and give lots and lots of praise when Ziva mouths that.

If the mouthing continues or increases, then as well as the 'uh-oh' signal, you could immediately stop all play, stand up turn your back and ignore (as best as you can) any attempts for attention. You may find the mouthing increases here as Ziva tries to get attention, but ignore and then again try to re-direct to toy.

Hope that helps!
