After reading loads of great tips and advice on this forum from other people's posts, I thought that I should say hello and introduce our new puppy to everyone.
We were lucky enough to bring home 'Precious' - one of Susie and Sparkle's puppies from Norfolk - and she is now settling in with us in Surrey with the new name of Flora.
She's 8 weeks old and an absolute delight, taking my three children, other dog and cat in her stride. Flora was my long awaited 40th birthday present to myself - 6 months early! Well, if you can't spoil yourself at such an important milestone, then when can you....
We are new to owning whippets so I'm sure that there will be times when I will be looking for advice from the experienced owners on this forum.
At the moment though we are enjoying every second of welcoming Flora into the family and so far she is on her best behaviour. (Having typed that, she has just come legging it down our hall in hot pursuit of my delighted three year old daughter!)
