I was wondering can sighthounds successfully wear head Haiti's to stop pulling?

Head collars can be quite aversive, as they put pressure on sensitive areas of the dog's face - you might want to have a look at this - The Problem With Head Halters - Suzanne Clothier/Carpe Canem Inc.

I used a Gentle Leader, similar to a Halti, with Jasper for a while - he had started lunging at other dogs and he was hard to hang on to. Is it the best approach? Probably not, for the reasons shown in the video above. However, it did work, in that he soon chose not to lunge and would walk much more nicely by my side (and be rewarded for it). Pretty soon I was able to ditch it. But now I'm older and wiser, I'd definitely try other methods first.
