how light it is outside? (w00t)

just the other week i said to my neighbour i had looked out and saw it was still light at 4pm so i took the dogs out, but by 4.30 it was pitch black.

it is now nearly 5pm and although its getting dark the sun is not quite down just yet.

ohh i cant wait till it gets propperly light at night again, not long till the clocks change march i think so

:huggles:

I love it when it gets light early in the morning .

I love going out early

not too long to wait for the clocks to go forward...29th march, carnt wait

My birthday Trish YAY! I hate going to work and coming home in the dark :( At least in a couple of months we will be able to take Izzy out after work in the light

Yes, it's great when it starts getting lighter again - it's the mornings I really hate - you just don't want to get up! ;)

Its funny, I was going to post the same thing a few days ago Katie...I could suddenly walk the dogs briefly if I escaped from work quickly...gets better by the day....I so love Britain and the changing seasons :D

I always remember a lady I worked with, some 25 years ago, saying that by the time her husband's birthday came round in January, it was still light at 5pm

Funny the things that stay in your mind for life

The thing I've noticed for the last 2 years is how much darker it seems to be in the morning (w00t)

I am always up early to muck out the horses and give the dogs a run and it's only just starting to get light at 7am. I'm sure it wasn't so dark at that time a few years ago  ............ or have I really lost it

My dads birthday too :D I love it when it starts getting light again. At the moment its light when I leave work but dark by the time I get on the bus, still dark when I get up and go to work unfortunately :( only a few more weeks of darkness though :teehee:

Heck, I hadn't noticed it staying lighter longer in the evenings. :teehee:

I've been moaning to the OH lately that it just doesn't seem to be getting lighter earlier in the mornings. It's still dark at 7.30 a.m. when I've got to take the dogs to the park, although by the time leads and coats are on and we're off, it is suddenly light. I've had to pick out their poop by the light of my head torch up to now .....fed up with these dark mornings.
