Club 'Opens' are coming thick and fast at the moment, and you might feel awash with entry forms. So here is another one -the closing date is Friday 15th June, that might seem an age away, but in reality a little over 3 weeks, so please don't delay.

Harvel has not held an 'Open' for at least 4 years, and the Club is hoping for a good entry, and a fine day of competitive racing- welcome back.

Stalwarts will know that the field is in a beautiful setting, and very accessible - Stonewood, Sandy Lane, Bean, Nr Dartford, Kent, DA2 8AJ

We talked about this in committee a few weeks ago - Colin was there - and decided that the guaranteed extra cost of trophies couldn't be justified, by the perceived possibility of extra entries. (as opposed to people entering the maiden instead of the main)

This Open is going to cost the club anyway, and with no catering income, any extra expenditure comes directly out of the entry fees.

Any member wishing to run a catering tent, stall, BBQ etc. is, of course more than welcome
