Well it was on at last! been waiting patiently for the past 2 weeks.

We are so very, very proud of him.

He didn't stutter once, looked a bit nervous at times but what a star!

Harry introduced the dogs one at a time whilst they were waiting in the traps then the trap lids flew up one by one, great filming! A clever bloke that cameraman.

Violet, Whitey and Meg were in the traps and all were filmed around the house feeding, playing and watching tv.

Gordon Burns introduced them nicely too and joked about stereotypes- Whippets and the North!

My leg and boot could be seen as I pulled the traps!

Karen.

yep i saw it (had to drag sam away from watching scooby doo)

harry came across really well....i hope you taped it. i think half of k9 want a copy :p

 i blinkin missed it I wonder if it will be on the bbc 10 o clock news?

tut missed your leg & foot karen ;)

The dogs looked great & harry did a brill job! Well done

It was not on up here  . Ive been looking for it in the Lancashire BBC news web site but can't find anything :( .

Im sure it was very good :D

My friends in Crewe saw it. They have just rung me and said it was brilliant and they have taped it for me. Of course we don't have it on our southern TV. Apparently it was on North-west tonight. They are going to watch it again now I have described Violet Rose for them

6-hours filming for a few minutes viewing, but very enjoyable and an experience Harry won't forget.

Yes it will possibly be repeated later this evening.

Watch out for my boot!

Karen

congratulations  Harry and the whips

We did not get to see it up here, hope you have taped it,

Showed racing in a possitive light and can only be good for all whippet racing.

had a few e/mail last night from people I know asking if I know the lad on TV that races whippets? I can see some personal apperances coming for him (fete opening ect!)

Oooowa! We didn't get it down here :( Sounds like Harry is a great ambassador for the sport though :D Well done Harry!

well as you can imagine it weren't on in the south...apparentley we're too sophisticated to race whippets :D

many congrats...

Paul

Thank you for your Congratulations in the Whippet News-from Chris, Cymro, Vicky and John Meades-IRG Whippet Monthly.

My mum is putting together a brief history -display of whippet racing in our local library-if anyone has anything interesting-photo's etc that might catch someones eye and interest them in the sport please bring them along to the next meeting/s-the display is booked for the end of March.

I really enjoyed the filming, it was great. Christian the cameraman was brilliant to work with, he's keeping in touch with me/dogs.

Harry Boyd
