Gun Dog: The Gun dog was originally used to assist the hunter in finding and retrieving game, usually birds. The group is divided into four categories: Retrievers, Spaniels, Pointers and Setters. Now though you are more likely to see these breeds as an important member of the family with their great temperaments.


Examples include: Hungarian Vizsla, Weimaraner, Spanish water dog, Braque D’Auvergne, small and large Munsterlander and Korthals Griffon.
