Today was Teya's (Aphrael Caoilinn of Chelynnah) 2nd show and as they were expecting a big whippet entry, they had all classes divided into Dog and Bitch classes. Teya got Best Puppy Bitch and Reserve Best Puppy in Breed!!!

She was fidgety on the floor - Either her front was right and her back was off or her back was right and she was leaning back - silly pup, but she moved well with all 4 feet on the floor - was pretty good with the judge (though she refused to show her teeth).

When she went back in for the bitch challenge she stood much better, and then when back in for the puppy challenge she was even more relaxed, so it was a really good experience for her. And the judge was extremely gentle with all the dogs and very helpful with advice for the handlers as well.

Will post the pic when Our Dogs sends it to me.

I was very pleased with my baby girl today!!

And not forgetting Savvy who got 2nd in her class today too and did very well.

Wendy

Well done Wendy and Teya!

I can't believe that little baby I cuddled at NWA is grown up enough to be shown already!

Also well done to Savannah

Great news - WELL DONE TEYA & SAVVY!!

Gutted I couldn't make it, but sale shopping in London beckoned and when someone wants to buy you a belated Xmas pressie - whats a girl to do!!!

Any other results from the show - who got BOB??

Well done Wendy and the girls.

Lovely photos of them.

Well done Wendy. I've always had a soft spot for your whippets. There is just something about them that makes me look twice. Beautiful. Would love to see more photos.

BOB was Mike Howgate with Palmik Princess

RBOB was Paul Jones with Tonmawr (sp?) La Petite Ballerina

Palmik Princess went 2nd in the group.

I honestly can't remember the name of the dog puppy, and as both pups in the dog puppy class were from the same litter I can't even do it based on age

I think it was K Jones Hot Rumour at Kierpark, but please forgive me if I'm wrong.

Dawn - I've sent you copies of the pics, but you can't have either of the girls back (well not permanently, but if you want them for an afternoon they're yours).

I'll share Teya's dog paper photos as soon as they come back.

I'm really pleased with my baby (well both of them) - and thanks for all the kind words.

Wendy
