Goodbye Tc

I've just come back from the vet.

My beautiful cat, TC, had to have an operation today for his over-active thyroid condition.

When he came round he was having spasms and his respiratory and heart rates were off the scale. He had suffered neurological damage somehow, probably a reaction to the anaesthetic.

My vet tried everything she could but he was getting worse as time went by, I had to decide to let him go :'( I can't stop crying, I love my cats just as much as I love my whippets.

He was only 13, one of three brothers who all live here still, I had their mum and dad too. I saw him being born on Easter Monday 13 years ago. He used to follow me around until I sat down and then he would be there, on my knee, purring :wub: :wub:

He loved the whippets too. I have pictures him sleeping with Jinny on the sofa but I can't find them right now

Goodbye my beautiful, big brave boy. Our lives won't ever be the same without you, TC. I love you and miss you so much already :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Awwww, Jane, I'm really sorry to hear this news of TC. :'( I remember you were asking me about the operation when Katie had hers done. He sounds as though he was a lovely cat and I know you will miss his cuddles and his purrs. I hope his 2 brothers are able to give you some comfort. Thinking of you tonight - I know how horrible it is. :huggles: I'd love to see your photos once you find them.
