We did have some tears this morning though....her school rang really early saying she hadnt got into Liverpool...her first choice....

so I calmed her down best I could, and sent her up to school...then she rang me to say 'Yes shed got into Liverpool after all'

blooming school... :rant: thats all I needed this morning...

anyway alls well that ends well... :blink:

That was a bit silly of the school :angry: most universities will consider slightly differing grades if they consider the students other qualities are good :thumbsup: .

I've been lucky, unconditional for me right from March/April time. Though I got a phone call the other day with them wanting to know my grades and come in ASAP to sign a statement as the course was getting full and they wanted to CONSIDER ME FOR A PLACE !!!

Poor bloke on the other end of the phone couldn't back pedal quick enough when he double checked and realised their mistake :- " .

Louise had a conditional place at Liverpool John Moores, until her results were received...

couldnt understand the school saying she hadnt made the grade...

Weve booked her accomodation too...a while ago and paid the deposit because thats the way it works down there, it would have been all change if she hadnt got in......Teesside was her second choice... but then we would have had to start looking at accomodation over again...
