LSD 2179/3/H:
Lurcher (?) - Standard Poodle x Greyhound - dog (entire)
Rough coated
Black with white
White blaze on chest, white on feet, and a scattering of occasional silvery hairs throughout his coat
Coat is soft like a Poodle, not wiry. Unusually large ears for a Lurcher - they look more like the sort of ears you'd expect on a Springer Spaniel
Height: 24 ins
Age: 22 months
Name is "Tufter"
Went missing from: Stonehouse area, Gloucestershire on 1/3/05
Circumstance of loss: Walking him on a rough patch of wasteland covered in huge bramble patches. He was nosing around after a rabbit and disappeared. Never saw him again. Suspect he must have got onto the line of a fox or a deer though I never saw or heard a thing. Spent the next 2 hours wandering all around the area whistling him but to no avail. He's normally very good about retracing his steps if he's run off after something so this is totally out of character.
Additional Info: Insured with Pet Plan I've posted some (not terribly good) pictures of him on my website at www.dogtrainingblueprint.com/tufter.html He doesn't look anything like your average 'typical' lurcher so if people are specifically looking out for a lurcher they might see him and not realise what he was
