Ghosts - real or a myth?

I am very skeptical about things like ghosts. I usually only ever believe things when I can actually see them.

Some say that dogs have this ability to see 'ghosts' and you will often see dogs looking into an open space. My old dog used to bark at the door frame!

My mom always said that our old house had someone in it, and that the dogs could see said 'person'.

I haven't experienced any 'ghostly' experiences however, the rest of my family have claimed too (while I was asleep when I was young).

Do ghosts exist? If so can dogs see them? Have you had any experience with the paranormal?

I think the exist... Any I believe animals and children can see them.

I find it all very interesting, but also quite scary at the same time!!!

I do think that a lot of it is in people's heads and they maybe force there minds to see things that arn't there.

However, I cannot simply believe that once your gone your gone. It just doesn't sit right with me!

I take the view of, until it happens to me I will remain skeptical.

Lily sometimes stares at something, She doesn't growl or wag her tail, she just stares at one spot in the room, it really freaks me out

One of my cats does the staring into space thing, but I think that's because he's a sandwich short of a picnic, not because he's psychic.

The only form of afterlife I believe in is the fact that my atoms and molecules will go on to be something else later, so some of me will end up being sky, and some will be soil and some will be in a tree. I don't believe in ghosts and I find the whole concept of the rainbow bridge cloyingly sentimental and if it really exists I pity my first cat Tizzy who will have been condemned to hanging around there for me for 20 years already (and I don't plan on popping my clogs any time soon).
